What SOLVN costs, in full.

Most of what a tradesperson needs on SOLVN is free and stays free. This page exists so you can check that yourself before you sign up — every limit, every price, and the one thing we will never charge for.

The part that does not change

No commission on the work you win.

SOLVN takes no commission, no lead fee, and no share of any job. You are not charged to see a project, not charged to bid, and not charged when you win. What you quote is what you invoice.

This is not an introductory offer and there is no date on it. It is how the business is built: SOLVN earns from a subscription to the back-office tools, so which bid the homeowner picks earns us nothing either way. That is the whole point — our advice about a job is worth something precisely because we do not get paid for the outcome.

To be exact about the wording: there is a subscription price, and it is below. There is never a cut of your work.

Free, permanently

Everything a homeowner sees when they compare you is in the free tier — your verified badges, your Trust Score, your response time, your portfolio, your reviews. None of it is behind a payment, and none of it ever will be. The free tier has monthly limits on volume, not on who you are.

  • 15 bids a month Resets on the 1st. Bidding itself is never charged for.
  • 2 won jobs a month Resets on the 1st. When you reach it, you cannot start new bids for the rest of the month — but bids you already placed stay live and can still be accepted.
  • 3 branded invoices or estimates a month Your own logo and colours are a Pro feature; the documents themselves are not.
  • 10 saved customers Your client book. Messaging and project history are not limited.

The monthly limits come off, and the back-office tools open up. Priced and published here so you know what it will cost — you cannot subscribe today, and nothing on SOLVN charges you anything right now.

Founding providers

The first 100 verified providers in the Lower Mainland.

SOLVN is new, and the providers who join while it is new are carrying more risk than the ones who join later. The founding terms exist to be worth that.

The bidding limits above are the part worth reading twice, so they are spelled out on the right rather than left to the fine print.

Pro free for 12 months
The full paid tier, at no cost, from the day you are verified.
A price lock
If you continue on Pro, you keep the price you started at — including through a seasonal pause, because most trades have a dead half-year.
A permanent mark on your profile
It does not affect your ranking, your search position, or your Trust Score. It says you were here first, and nothing more — a badge that changed your ranking would not be worth having.
What happens after 12 months
You keep bidding. That is never withdrawn. If you do not continue on Pro you return to the free tier — which means the monthly limits above apply again, including the two won jobs a month. "You can always bid" is not the same as "unlimited free work forever", and we would rather you knew that now than found out in month thirteen.
